16+ Semi-Independent Living Support
At Quality Care Services 4U, we understand that transitioning from care into adulthood can be overwhelming for young people aged 16 and over. This crucial period requires more than just a place to stay—it requires consistent guidance, stability, and the skills necessary to live independently and thrive in adulthood.
Our 16+ Semi-Independent Living service provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for care leavers or young people who are at risk of homelessness or social exclusion. We offer tailored support packages based on individual needs, helping each young person build life skills and resilience at their own pace.
What We Provide:
- Safe and fully furnished accommodation with 24/7 support available if required
- Key working sessions and a personalised support plan
- Support with budgeting, benefits, and managing finances
- Help with cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a home
- Assistance with accessing education, employment, and training (EET)
- Emotional support and access to mental health services when needed
- Support with GP and health appointments, and understanding personal healthcare
- Guidance on forming positive relationships and social skills development
Our experienced team works collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, and other professionals to ensure every young person receives the care and oversight they need while learning the responsibilities of independent living.
The goal is not only to provide temporary housing but to prepare young people for full independence, giving them the tools, confidence, and emotional readiness to successfully manage adulthood on their own terms.
